At Studio Blush, we don’t just want you to look good; we want our clients to feel good too! While our artists take the time to get to know clients and build relationships, sometimes it can be helpful to have other resources as well. Our motto is that if our community has a problem, we have a problem. In order to ensure that you have the proper resources, we have put together a number of business links that can help.

Strengthening Families and Youth

  • Intellectual Disabilities Agency of the New River Valley. This outstanding organization functions to provide services for individuals of all ages with disabilities so that they can actively participate and be successful within their community.   • Literacy Volunteers of the New River Valley. Our organization has a staff of countless knowledgeable tutors that can help your child.   • Scouts BSA, Blue Ridge Mountains Council. This program is for disadvantaged youth, aged 5-20 years old, who are interested in scouting activities. Health and Crisis Intervention 

  • Floyd County Emergency Assistance Program. This assistance program provides aid in the form of food, clothing, or financial assistance for families affected by unforeseen tragedies. Call (540) 745-2102 if you believe you may be qualified to enroll in this program! 
  • Homeless and Housing Program. Are you homeless or at risk of becoming homeless? The Homeless and Housing Program helps individuals, like yourself, by providing financial assistance, as well as counseling.   • Montgomery County Emergency Assistance Program. Are you experiencing a temporary emergency? Then you might be eligible for the Montgomery County Emergency Assistance Program! We provide food, clothing, and financial assistance to locals in situations like yours!   • New River Family Shelter. If you are experiencing a housing crisis, this organization can help to provide you and your family with emergency shelter. Give us a call at (540) 382-6188 to learn more about our availability and services! 
  • New River Valley Senior Services. This organization offers a number of outstanding services. From delivering hot meals to any individuals homebound to providing transportation to important doctors appointments, shopping trips, etc., we can help.   • Radford-Fairlawn Daily Bread. We work daily to provide a free meal at noon Monday-Friday to any individuals who need it, no questions asked. To participate in this program, contact us at (540) 838-2210 and we’d be happy to feed you on the next weekday! 
  • Radford-Fairlawn Meals on Wheels. Are you homebound and hungry in the Radford or Fairlawn area? This program aims to feed people who cannot leave their homes and provide them with free meals every weekday at noon. To learn more, give us a call at (540) 641-3883 today!     
  • To Our House. From temporary thermal shelter to food, support, and helpful resources, this organization helps single homeless men and women from November-March in a variety of ways. To see if you are eligible, do not hesitate to give our staff a call at (540) 382-6186. 
  • Valley Interfaith Child Care Center. This center provides affordable, educational, and nurturing care for children from 6 weeks old to 12 years old who are part of income-eligible, working families within the local community. Promoting Self-Sufficiency

  • Blacksburg Volunteer Rescue Squad. Our aim is to provide accessible, pre-hospital emergency care services to individuals in the local communities. To learn more about our CPR courses, assistance for local events, or any other services we offer, contact us at (540) 443-1630 today. 
  • Children’s Health Improvement Partnership NRV (CHIP). CHIP’s aim is to improve health and promote wellness and self- sufficiency for pregnant women and women with children under 6 years of age.   • Community Health Center of the New River Valley. We serve BOTH uninsured and insured individuals with Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance, so that no individual who needs medical, dental, behavioral health, or medication assistance is turned away due to inability to pay.
